My Mom's dog, an old, large German Shepherd, starting losing nerve control in her back end. She couldn't stand up on her own anymore. A few years back, my son went to the ER for a gastrointestinal issue, and the doctor said his record showed he had diabetes 2, and was he taking metformin. My son said no, berberine. The doctor - very young - made a show of saying he never heard of berberine and then stood there and Googled it on his phone, and just sort of shrugged dismissively. And the hospital menu for those with diabetes has French fries, bread, pudding, etc. I used to think that was just stupidity, but now I think it may be deliberate.
Great, if sort of depressing article. I am familiar with and use quite a few of the natural remedies. I use oregano oil for infections, I don't know if there is a study for that. And I wish you were not sort of preaching to the choir.

sugar and spice and everything nice, just swap out the sugar for honey.
