Wow, astonishing work, thank you. I’m wondering if my Dupuytrens Contracture might respond to Nattokinase with DMSO? Several rounds of needle procedure (apeurotomy) and one xiaflex injection had some improvement but quickly reverted. Have just decided against more radical surgery.

I’ve took 2,000FU during Covid. Then increased it to 12,000 about a year ago when I got a coronary scan score of 171 and my cardiologist wanted to put me on a statin. Which I refused. I will say I’ve noticed a difference an improvement in my cardio function at the gym.

Such a fascinating read! My integrative doctor has me on 20,000 PU/g 2x day to lower my LDL. I will be doing bloodwork next month. Anxious to follow this journey. Ty, Sayer for your wealth of knowledge. I also am a subscriberto Greenmedinfo for quite a few years now. You are such a blessing!

Just FYI, I got back my annual lipid panel last month and there was a remarkable improvement in my LDL. I’m taking 12,000FU of Natto and found a couple old bottles of red yeast that I started taking to use them up. I took two a day along with coq10 because I’d had sore muscles when I was on a prescription statin (but stopped when I couldn’t move). 2025: cholesterol 198; triglycerides 72; Hdl 53; LDL (calculated)131. 2026 lipid: cholesterol 140; triglycerides 38; HDL 56; LDL (calculated) 76. Something caused this outside of diet, which didn’t change much (lost a little weight). I’ve backed down to one red yeast tablet a day because the drop was almost out of range! Good luck.

Ty! That’s so wonderful and encouraging, Mark! What a difference 👏 I’m glad you backed down though bc I know you don’t want your cholesterol going too low. I’ve learned that it is not a good thing. Good luck with everything! Sounds like it is def working for you. ☺️

Saw this, passing it on - Pfizer gives you 158,000 diseases in one vaccine shot, probably much the same with Moderna and the other vaccines too, could be where current illness originate from: https://expose-news.com/2026/10/16/scary-truths-about-the-toxic-covid-vaccine/comment-page-1/#comment-197533

Great! Now we need some way to make it possible to stomach Natto, so its not like eating someone's nasty phlegm. I cant get Natto here where I am in Mexico so I guess its not a problem for me.

Sayer, what are your thoughts about A-fib patients on Eliquis taking nattokinase? AI recommends against it, but I unknowingly took the two together for a couple of years with no ill effects, so I think it is more of an unknown, than a known contraindication. And my next question is whether you think nattokinase would be a reasonable substitute for Eliquis?

Regardless of what you say, I am not changing my medications, but I just wanted to know your honest opinion. My own is that the right dosage of nattokinase would likely be a substitute for Eliquis, but am not about to experiment on myself.

Thanks in advance.

Another great article by Sayer Ji. Thank you for your disclosures, which many in the top levels of government, even the Supreme Court, refuse to do. Thank you for your balanced summary of what we know and what we don't know. This is what good science looks like.

What are some names of nattokinase foods on can buy?

Den Arto's avatar

Only Natto, fermented soybeans, if you can stomach it.

I wonder if there's any research on lumbrokinase? It has similar properties.

Sayer-

Great article, again. I read something of yours about a year ago and started taking a Natto supplement (12K FU daily).

I also read, and shared many times, your article on pomegranate. Again, I think for about a year now, I have a daily 16oz glass of water with a scoop or two of freeze-dried pomegranate powder, plus 1/10th teaspoon borax.

Questions...

Are there any studies/reviews of taking both natto and pomegranate?

Have you had comments or testimonials from readers using both?

Thanks

Does nattokinase powder always have FU activity? I mistakenly bought some without the declaration. It tastes and smells like nattokinase. I'm just wondering if it's the residue after any extraction process, and therefore worthless.

Hi there, and thank you. I have blocked arteries in my leg and have been taking AzureVitamins Nattokinase 20000FU for nearly 2 months. I am not seeing any noticeable change, but I will be continuing. Do you have an authenticated supplier you could recommend, preferably enteric coated. Many thanks again

Danny

Hi Danny. I ended the article with a disclosure, because I formulated my own, with 10,800 FU per serving, and it is enteric coated: https://regeneratecompany.com/products/cardionk?utm_source=regenerateproject&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=lifestyle_center&utm_content=cardionk

I had the same problem. I looked for over a year for a product and company I could trust, and found it very difficult. That was the inspiration for this product.
