I saw a video recently of a recorded home visit (in NH, I think) to a new mom by a nurse. The mom was confused and didn’t want the nurses there. The main nurse was abrasive, superior and intimidating. When the mom said she didn’t want the service, the nurse responded, “so can I schedule your visit for (named a date)?” That happened repeatedly and was so bizarre. When the mom asked (repeatedly) if she HAD to comply, the nurse evaded the question every time. As a social worker for 30 years, I was disgusted. This is NOT right.

Young mothers and the elderly are especially easy to intimidate.

That's the last thing a new mom needs!

First they remove the extended family and call it cocooning, then the government comes in to take their place.

Massholery.

High profile psychotic killing spree creates the context for the advance of creeping totalitarianism.

Rinse, repeat.

I don’t believe the Clancy case is organic. Just a hunch that this is all choreographed well in advance

DJL's avatar

You have superior instincts, my friend. No coincidences, just globalist planning. Also, substitute “demonic” for globalist. Same thing

Oh Massholery, Iike this word too.

Asshoolery! I am stealing that:}

Asshoolery due to masshoolery 😁

This is all too funny and am enjoying these descriptors so much!

That Massachusetts trial had too many suspicious parts to it, rendering a suspicious smell to the entire thing. Are we seeing the test case for a part of the control grid being put in place…the one that starts at birth?

Mark Brody's avatar

Massachusetts is doubtless being influenced by the controligarchs who are trying to enslave us all. I think they think they can regulate us and micromanage us down to tying our shoes properly. I think they are going to find that the people do not bow to the yoke so readily. The grand plan sounds scary and the great power of the state coming down like a giant boot to crush us all seems impossible to stop. Most likely mismanagement and horrible mistakes will bring down this unfolding boondoggle in a tangled heap of bureaucratic snafus. The trip from blackboard to real world action is farther than its authors imagine. I certainly hope I am right here because Orwell could not have imagined anything so sinister.

Though Transcriber B is right, Reinette Senum has encouraging words for us:

SENUM: They Told Us Nobody Was Listening. Then 2026 Happened (with 17-min. video): https://reinettesenumsfoghornexpress.substack.com/p/they-told-us-nobody-was-listening

Calls. Letters. Public comments. Packed hearings. Petitions. Across America, ordinary people are stalling bills, stopping projects, changing regulations and reminding government of something it may have forgotten…

John's avatar

I was thinking the same thing. Once people come face to face with the (really nasty sinecure seeking) control freaks, they may begin to understand what "government" is all about.

John's avatar

Excellent comment and some nice neologisms too.

"Massachusetts is doubtless being influenced by the controligarchs who are trying to enslave us all."

From what I can gather about post-colonial Massacheusetts, it's been that way from the start, so they have lots of experience. Seems to me that after the "Rev," the good people of Mass were quickly saddled with a government of Boston "aristocrats" that was much worse than what they had under the Brits. Shays' Rebellion happened for some significant reasons and was brutally suppressed by a militia that was paid for privately. It does not surprise me that soon there was pressure for a centralized authority to shift the costs back onto the "non-elite."

caplet's avatar

Do you live here? Healey is installing this corruption at a rapid pace. It is stunning to observe and live through. This is different than anything that came before.

John's avatar

It's probably different but my point is that the seeds were planted long ago.

Do you garden?

PS: The antifederalists were nearly 100% correct. I know, that resonates with almost nobody.

Dr Kay's avatar

Exactly. We never actually had the "Republican form of government" here in this state that the Revolutionary War was supposed to have won us. So many of the Shays' Rebellion participants were Revolutionary war veterans who came home and got crushed under the weight of property taxes that they couldn't pay...meanwhile, the profiteers were building their empires licking the boots of the Boston Brahman class.

John's avatar

Not only taxes, but they had been paid with currency that had been badly devalued. They sold it to get what they could out of it, then the purchasers (currency speculators) got the government to pay them face value and guess who paid for that? If you said that the guys who fought the war for worthless currency, you'd be correct.

That's where their taxes went!

Dr Kay's avatar

It wasn't even exactly currency, was it? It's been a while since I studied Shays Rebellion, but I remember promissory notes rather than pay; not anything of actual value, which the people who had fought and earned sold at the equivalent of "pennies on the dollar" to opportunists who seemed to be all connected with the Brahmans, and who subsequently made their fortunes when the Brahman legislature decided to honor all those promissory notes at their original value. Am I remembering the story correctly? It was literally a transfer of wealth, 1700's style.

John's avatar

That's the way I understand it and I believe it makes sense too!

PS: Thanks for correcting my use of the word, "currency." I believe a better term would have been "promissory notes," even though they were called "Continental Currency." If I remember correctly, sometimes they didn't even get that! The people who did the actual fighting often got screwed over royally, while the rest sometimes profited immensely.

And another thing is that the rebellion was put down by a privately paid militia. I have my suspicions that though the grievances were valid, that the rebellion was encouraged so as to have an excuse to form a government that would take care of such expenses in the future. So, the taxes we pay could be used to support a standing army to do any dirty work that needed to be done.

Dr Kay's avatar

I hope that you are right, Mark. I think back to the covid response and how when the rubber hit the road, the people bowed to tyranny in this state, and I wonder. I was a manager for a Mass state agency at the time, and fully twenty per cent of our entire work force tried to get exemptions from the mandated medical procedures...which were all denied, of course. I can count on one hand how many of us actually let ourselves get fired rather than eventually bowing to the tyranny and keeping their jobs. Five women, of which I was one, that I know. That's it. The rest caved.

These are the actions of a Communist state!

Especially in an ultra-liberal state like MA, you should assume that a visit that is voluntary will, in spite of whatever the law entails, become mandatory at some future time. You should also assume that once names, statistics, data is collected, it will be retained, possibly given to other agencies or sold to companies, and, eventually, may be used against you. This is government doing what it does best-- gaining and maintaining control of its citizens. The only people who will be exempt will be the powerful politicians and their families, and, of course, their beloved illegal aliens.

“Not compulsory.” Yet.

Why is Massachusetts' state government intervening in the private lives of families? What "problem" does this program allegedly "solve" that a family's doctor cannot address? This program is more of an intrusion into the lives of ordinary citizens. It has all the markings of government overreach into the personal lives of people. Watch out for the next step: mandatory vaccination or implanted ID chips into your child.

Roger's avatar

Thank you for doing this deep research. Hopefully Mass residents will follow up on this creeping encroachment on the family.

I gave birth to my two children in 91 and 93… I remember my pediatrician asking me important questions about how I was adjusting to motherhood both physically and emotionally on the first baby visit which I believe was at two weeks old. I remember her asking many pertinent questions and giving me advice as well. At six weeks you have your appointment with your OB/GYN who also asks a lot of questions about how you are managing motherhood, how you are feeling physically, how you are feeling emotionally, are you getting enough sleep, etc. Is this no longer happening in the medical field? I believe this is where “assessments” are most important, between Dr and patient, where there is already an established relationship. This Massachusetts. System should be completely unnecessary and feels like it’s just an invasion of privacy, a reason to come into your home. I’m also wondering if once a person agrees to an initial visit, are they locked into future visits even if the healthcare person didn’t see anything questionable? Bad idea all around. Thank you for a great article.

If this is not seen as GOVERNMENT OVERREACH then, it s apparent that we have MORE THEN BLINDERS ON! I am astounded that the taxpayers of MA are allowing this type of blatant freedom abolishment.
