Epstein is a real conundrum. It appears he was highly intelligent and an astute observer of human nature, which enabled him to manipulate powerful men to bend at his beck and call. This is similar to JD Rockefeller taking down Homeopathic medicine 100 years ago because its cheap, has no side-effects and can't be patented.
The first thing Rockefeller's Allopathic doctors did was shut down the entire birthing practice because what do Women know about birthing babies? Most of the best were black women midwives... vulnerable to getting marginalized as the "science" of "Medicine" was Professionalized. With disastrous effects on health. Impact on Black Medical Education: The report also led to the closure of five out of seven Black medical schools in the U.S., severely limiting the number of Black MDs who could serve their communities.
