BBC have a very long history of misrepresenting Trump so this wasn't a mistake it was part of a long campaign to discredit President Trump on an almost daily basis. It is sickening. In one interview after the 2020 election they said - he was a liar - except they were the ones lying - I put in a complaint which was upheld.
I live in the UK - we do not have a TV licence but do listen to Radio 4 just to check on the propaganda which is exactly what it is.

The BBC itself has admitted this was an "error of judgement" and apologised, yet they're now facing a defamation lawsuit for it, with claims it amounted to election interference.
As a British citizen forced to fund the BBC through the licence fee, my concern is with institutional bias and the misuse of that mandatory funding to push agendas that undermine democratic processes -Whether that’s perceived left-leaning coverage or deceptive editing timed close to a US election. No one is above scrutiny, but state-funded media interfering in foreign elections (or even domestic ones) crosses a serious line. Respect goes both ways: I don't respect being compelled to pay for propaganda, regardless of the target.
