This is a necessary and rigorous reframe of what astrology can be when it is not reduced to a parlor game. The distinction between "technique stacking" and "exact vector mathematics" is the pivot that changes everything. The media treats astrology as a Rorschach test—a way to project political narratives onto the sky. But the sky is not a projection screen. It is a harmonic field. And if you are going to read it, you owe it the precision of an instrument.

What I find myself sitting with is the difference between pairwise analysis and the full chord. Traditional astrology breaks the sky into 45 separate relationships and guesses which one wins. But the sky does not speak in fragments. It speaks in a single, combined wave. The question is not which planet is winning. It is what the entire field is saying.

The line that stayed with me is: "When an analytical system can produce any output simply by swapping house calculations or adding fictional asteroids, it ceases to be an instrument. It becomes a Rorschach test." That is the whole of it. The integrity of the reading depends on the integrity of the model.

Then what is the point of reading it - to confirm what I already know about myself or to question it? I’m not being facetious I truly want to know the point if it’s not for predictions. My only experience with the planets is noticing how I cannot sleep (not the normal can’t sleep but wide eyed when actually exhausted) during at least one night of a full moon (generally 97%+ illuminated). My husband & son even now believe it from my pointing it out & their own experience. Truly interested - is it the gravitational pull?

That's a great question. For me, the value is not prediction but orientation. A good map doesn't tell you what you must do; it helps you understand the landscape you're moving through. The choice remains yours.

As for the full moon, there is evidence that some people experience changes in sleep around the lunar cycle, although the mechanisms are still debated. Whether that is due to light, biological rhythms, or something more subtle is still an open question. But your observation is shared by many people, so it's certainly worth paying attention to your own experience.

What's next, crystal balls, witches with cauldrons, or Druids in a grove of oak trees?

Ties into their pre scripted end time prophecy.

Jenny Stewart's avatar

"Their" end time prophecy is for them, not us! They may have seen their end via specialised tech. Oops!

goatsRstillgruffy's avatar

Again?? Just how many times can the world end? Aren’t we up to 72 “end of days”?

Former UK resident's avatar

Pls count on 'aliens' too.

They have been telling us over the last few decades, this planet will be destroyed in a few years if we don't change our behaviour... How many few years?

Jenny Stewart's avatar

They have...have they?? Which aliens? Did they contact you by landline or voice-to-skull tech? We've all been told tons of crap over the past few decades, never mind what came before the 20th century! We are inately powerful, what you focus on becomes your reality, what you speak creates it. Wishing you every good 💖

Alien abductees have been good PR agents for climate change hoax.

The current satanic structure needs to be dismantled in order for your desire to be realised.

I have a fren who went to Cuba and asked a local medicine man to perform a ritual in order to make her wish come true. They sacrificed animals and her wish came true. She now believes their power.

GoatsRstillgruffy, I'm leaning towards druids in a grove of oak trees.

I like oak trees 🙂

goatsRstillgruffy's avatar

I agree. Oaks are majestic trees and being part Irish makes the Druids the best choice.

I'm part Scottish. Does that count?🙂

Any Celtic race! Scott’s cone from Picts and Gaels, so yep!

Thank you for this article. I have to point out that you are still using the Tropical/Western Zodiac, instead of the Sidereal Zodiac.

Pluto, if viewed directly and looking at what constellation is standing behind it, is in Capricorn, NOT Aquarius.

If your focus is on Truth, and I know it is, I beg of you to consider your program to focus on Sidereal Astrology, even if still equal 12 signs (which I personally believe is preferable based on what the ancient Babylonian Culture came here to delineate for us) rather than the false placement of planets in constellations they are not ACTUALLY in in most cases.

If we’re moving toward truth, and connecting with the stars to support us in doing so, then it seems only reasonable that we should be naming the energy we’re actually navigating in this time, and not speak of energies based on a system designated nearly 2,000 years ago with Ptolemy that never honored the progression of the Equinoxes.

Tropical Astrology has become mostly a “label shifting” that fixes the Spring Equinox at 0° Aries, and also a “collective belief system” that is more about the lower ego nature than anything to do with the true Soul’s path. It can give us info on what we’re working through and wrestling with, so I’m not saying it’s not worth understanding the difference, but it doesn’t show us where we’re truly going.

I would love to understand why you don’t use the Sidereal Zodiac, i.e. astronomically correct positioning, if your mission is truth?

Thank you for considering my suggestion and I hope I hear from you as to your thoughts.

I deeply appreciate all that you do and the many ways you bring truth to the surface! Thank you!

Has it come to this?!

HuffPost needs writers who understand astrology, as the errors you sight are obviously misinterpretations. No astrologer, traditional or otherwise, would put Pluto in Libra. This probably refers to a solar return chart, I would guess. Also, Lance's moon is not in the sixth and there isn't any house system that would put it there. It's in the second. So, you are right the article is useless, but traditional astrology is not. Also, your system doesn't tell me anything. I'm an astrologer for the last 50 years - Western school.

Probably the accuracy doesn't matter in this case. All it matters for them, is to psychologically manipulate the mass whilst leaving astrology experts to argue over the details.

Mr Prez is an expert in chaos magik.

Hmm... Didn't TPUSA quickly endorse Vance? The upcoming election targeted hit pc?

Or they are just using astrology to tell us what they are going to do next?

Do you spell-check your headlines? What is "lossy" ?

Can you give me an explanation why in this system, my Ascendent is libra? In every house system I've used for over the decades, given the same time of birth, my rising is in the constellation of Scorpio.

Whatever happened to the Huffington Post of yore?!

Gone gone gone,

Gone the same way as the tired trance tyrant TV;

Put them out to pasture,

Give them a long rope,

It's Groundhog Day,

a madcap play,

Another hopeless trope.
