Wow, Wow, and WOW! Thank you, Sayer Ji!

Thanks Sayer. I appreciate that anyone aspires to a literate and grounded discussion of astrology. This article is a good starting point.

With astrology, the question is: what is the purpose of the tool set or workshop? What is the job we are giving it? Astrology is a practical tool, like a wood shop, recording studio or sextant.

This is where any theory comes in for the test. The result of astrology is always an idea. The idea that astrology describes is NEVER objective but it can be described or argued for or against, as valid. The result is never "in space" or in "the aether" and always in the mind or in consciousness. Space is the backdrop.

It seems that your article and its sources describe the astrology of physical objects often with measurable gravity, resonance or magnetic fields. It does not account for nonphysical objects that are purely mathematical and do not exist “in space” or in “the aether.”

I would also note that the concept of prediction involves a linear model of time. Under electrical conditions, we are all traveling at the speed of light and in a sense, living simultaneously. There have been some startlingly accurate predictions made, not so many of them but they exist — and these seem to be much more about the astrologer than about astrology.

Astrology as practiced is an Earth-based system that relies on seasonal cycles, the directions and the ecliptic. The stars and planets amount to celestial tarot cards that always are read within a cultural context, in the context of one another, in a personal context, and which have arbitrary meanings. And yet we seek astrology for meaning. That meaning comes from us.

In testing any astrological theory, you would have to ask based on a specific chart and the related case or situation.

And the things read often do not actually exist outside of mathematics and the mind of the astrologer. The house cusps are an example. While they have a basis in math, there are a dozen or more accepted systems and the astrologer chooses based on preference or tradition. The Arabic parts (lots) are another example of something that exist only in mathematical and astrological theory.

The formula for the Lot (Arabic part) of the Father in astrology is ASC + Father's significator - (minus) Sun for day charts and ASC + Sun - (minus) Father's significator for night charts. How is this even relevant? Why are day and night formulae different?

Also included among these figments are the Uranian Points, Transpluto and degree symbol systems. Many objects are so small and so distant that they exist as concepts (Sedna, smaller than Pluto, with an 11,400 year orbit). Nearly no astrologers use Sedna.

The “machine of destiny” (celestial mechanics) that you describe is a model that does not account for divination — such as horary astrology. Though horary has existed for a long time, it is easiest to understand based on the more recent discovery of synchronicity. In other words, meaningful coincidence and not causation.

Tarnas and other modern authors (especially Cornelius) describe the divinatory model, rather than a causative model. The important thing about diviniation is that it exists in the immediately conscious mind rather than being "cosmic." Yes we are part of the cosmos, but what I am saying is that imagination and interpretation drive the meaning of ALL astrology.

Without interpretation and observation there is nothing; no information, no practical purpose, and no meaning.

Let’s say for example you're talking a walk and you see a sheep that got stuck in the shoreline rocks and drowned at high tide. Seeing this, you cast a chart for that time you noticed the sheep and come up with Mars in Pisces in the 8th house — the image of a dead (8th house) sheep (Mars) in the water (Pisces). (This is a true example given by Cornelius.)

Pisces is a concept. The 8th house is a concept. Mars is the ruler of the sign Aries and therefore an extended metaphor for a sheep. There is your drowned ram. This is not cosmic; it is a function of the imagination and of symbolism on Earth only. It is true that the Earth is part of the cosmos and you cannot jump out. But when we say astrology, what we really mean is symbolism, perception and projection. What we mean is that meaning exists in context only.

Wow! Sayer, this is an excellent composition with astounding and profound implications. You've woven together multiple disciplines in a beautiful and specific way that appeals to an intellectually-minded perspective. Thank you. This is truly some of the best information I've ever consumed.

As a footnote, I'll add that as collective consciousness continues its rise and a disciplined methodology for understanding subtle energy wave flows and reverberations (such as you Sayer Ji describes here) become commonplace, it will be truly revolutionary in multiple senses. That is, recognition of these patterns and the importance of certain recurring inflection/reflection points in space & time will reveal how things line up with ritualistic practices that self-described "elites" (who presume to rule the rest of us) execute particularly to exert influence on events / consciousness of the populace at scale.

This is fantastic, thank you for this Sayer - I will now take a much different view and state of interest in astrology than ever before.

In the section on the full natal chart, you describe “field coupling” or “cosmic DNA” that is imprinted on a person... at birth. I’m not sure why this day would be more important than the day of conception, or some other point of gestational development (or perhaps more than one point therein).

Being inside or outside of the womb would have to have some kind of shielding effect that is removed on this day if the day of birth is what is most important. Perhaps the action of birth itself - labored over many hours - plays a kind of consciousness imparting role from mother (with some help from the cosmos) to child.

As consciousness seems to be a critical faculty, maybe an imprinting occurs in alignment with the time of consciousness formation, which itself has many phases or development milestones (self consciousness, whether spontaneous or prompted, occurs well after birth for example).

I have always had a strong interest in "what is consciousness", so this link to these cosmic weather patterns offers some new food for thought in this lifelong project.

Astrology to me was what my grandmother taught me as a young person...AFFINITY with certain people born during certain months. I have found that she was right to a certain extent.. However, in 1982, I came across a book, which changed my life and gave me a great deal more understanding...It was What's Your Card? by Arne Lein. It was far more specific...people born on certain days have different talents and soul characteristics. It would stand to reason that our Creator would place us, where we would fill a need.. For 30 years, I gave people this information free of charge, along with my nutritional consultations. There are people in the world that are very compatible with each other; and others who should never be in your life. Its in the cards! Every person i counseled said the same thing...how accurate the information was about their talents, aspirations and the people in their lives. This is my take on Astrology1

I'm a clinical hyper sensitive and I feel cosmic shifts as they happen. I can be out and about and get hit by a shift, so I check the time and when I look at the astrology sure enough at that exact time there was a conjunction, opposition or square.

Yes, we astrologers have known this for many centuries and predict on this basis. I have been saying the same for many years. There is no need to appeal to gravitation or magnetism as the causative principle, just as you have eloquently said, for the planetary configurations produce energetic patterns in space. Yes, that is correct. And yes, Kepler used the same notion in his time to make astrological predictions. I have applied this knowledge to many areas of human experience, including historical trends, financial cycles, weather, and more recently, the sighting of ufos. Read the results on my Substack, which includes The Astrology of World Events, The Alien Astrologer, and The Pagan Astrologer.

As excellent as this overview is, it falls short of mentioning the ongoing Death of Big Bang, Dark Matter & Energy. Plasma cosmology restores the connective foundational "medium" we lost when aether was abandoned for Quantum weirdness.

Space is pervaded with connective "tissue," filaments of electrical flows called Birkeland Currents, that twist together and birth stars along this circuit flows. The enhanced images from Hubble and James Webb, radio telescopes, Chandra, etc., reveal a cellular structure to cosmos, with flow lines millions of light years long. The Big Bang rested on false interpretation of red shift (see works of Halten Arp). The old gravity based "meaningless" explosion model is falling apart, constantly being patched by magical math formulations.

The Electric Universe model is daily being proven predicatively correct, while the isolated pebble and rock objects in empty space gravity model is being clung to by the dying materialists.

Plasma may even come to be understood as our materialistic perception of the true substrate: Consciousness "particle-waves" which are composed of yin-yang balanced oppositional forces, which compose the nature of Mind: distinguishing and creating the apparency of Self v. Other, imagined divisions of the Whole-Allness into spectrums and nested islands of harmonic geometries, with galaxies like Fields of Flowers in the Resonance of the Creative Word.

We may come to awaken in the gnosis of a Christ-Man saying "I am the Vine" to be an expression of this Cosmos as a Tree or Vine, a Web of EL-ectrical currents....of Consciousness.

And we are all little budding fruits upon the Tree, coming to Re-member that we are the Sap-ience of the Living Tree of Life.

I think Our Creator is limitless; thus all is possible but only with His hand in it. We are spiritual beings, made with a soul, so we are always in tune or out of tune with our surroundings.

Sayer Ji,

The concept propounded in this remarkale essay of viewing the cosmos as a flow of an aether- like informatonal highway connecting distance, time, physical matter, and biological activity is quite intreiging.

In Jewdaism there is a concept that Hashem- aka G_d- recreates the universe continuously sending specific energy(ies) to support all material and immaterial elements of all that we can and have yet to perceive.

This idea conforms with the thrust of this somewhat speculative yet emperially plausable hypotheses of an interactive and immediatly communicating univercsal process influencing us constantly.

I, of course agree that purly astrological determinism or fate is not part of the message in a scientific discourse. Yet,the universalism of a flow of conscienciousness influencing environments in which free choice supervenes fits nicely into a spiratually inspired view of nature of all we know and have yet to learn about who and what we are.

Thank you.
