The sunscreen in your beach bag may be doing more harm than good. The solution is not a product. It is a remembering. The plants already carry the protection. The oils already carry the intelligence. The body already knows how to receive it.
What lingers with me is the distinction between the chemical and the botanical. The chemical is a substitute. The botanical is a relationship. One is extracted. The other is grown. One is a transaction. The other is a resonance.
Can you open the topic of the effect that endocrine disruptors (and other ingredients as well) may have on the little boys and girls whose parents constantly cover them in sunscreen in a diligent effort to protect them?
It seems to be that girls are developing prematurely more often, boys with gynecomastia, and I also wonder about influence on the trans phenomenon.
I believe that the endocrine disruptor, soybean oil. which has been in the food source since 2000, is responsible in large part for the gynocomastia and female-shaped bodies in boys and young men and early puberty in girls as well as gender confusion. Adding the sunscreens, etc. only worsens this. Compare the shape of young men's bodies pre-2000 to today's young men and you see a concerning situation.
I think this too. Not sure whether Sayer Ji has written on this topic, but I am interested in all of the pieces that are a part of this and any evidence. I think also disruption of circadian rhythms and light (screens and frequencies) have a part in this. I also wonder about the interplay of porn and the extension of porn elements into the common culture. How does porn change the physical body, the brain, psychology, behavior?
What the Japanese consumed was fermented soy, while the the soybean oil and soy toccopherols in American food is refined (non-food, toxic, anti-nutrition). Regardless of how it is consumed, the genistein in soy has been linked to an increased risk of bladder, colon, and breast cancers in rat and human studies. Soy is an endocrine disruptor, and is and has been interfering with the reproductive development of children, leaving boys with feminized bodies.
I was a habitual sunglass wearer mostly due to highly sensitive blue eyes & allergens. When I found out I was blocking my eyes natural ability to regulate melanin I ditched them completely. My skin has gradually adjusted (with the help of getting morning sun) to the point where I no longer burn but just gradually tan. I also move to the shade or cover up if outside for extended periods during peak hours.
Never use OIL on your skin for sun exposure. You're better off wearing a shirt and a wide-brimmed hat if you are out for many hours. Otherwise, don't use anything. The Sun is our best health partner.
I have spent my entire life outdoors enjoying the sunshine. I made a feeble attempt to use sunscreen but in water-sports it burned my eyes and required constant reapplication so I rarely used it. I learned how to avoid sunburns but by the end of every summer I was dark brown.
By all accounts I should be a text book case for skin cancer but somehow I’m not. Cosmetics, deodorants, perfumes, lotions and ointments, wipes, etc, are just additional ways to poison us.
Beef tallow works best for me, also in the hair, protective! Very emollient, no need to re-apply at all, not at all, unless you stay a long time at the beach or pool. Of course, you may add your favorite essential oils, etc. but for me pure beef tallow is simple natural sun-screen.
I’ve been using olive & coconut oil on my skin as protection for years and love em. I have European ancestry and have never burned while using them - albeit at sea level, not going out “tanning” or for prolonged periods in the sun (more than 15-20 minutes), and this is in conjunction with eating clean (no seed oils, junk food, alcohol or gluten) and being in touch with my circadian / biological rhythms & cycles. I absolutely believe in these via personal experience but of course parameters are necessary & individual experiences will vary.
I’ve made my own sunscreen with oils and included shea butter and coco butter. Had reasonable results. Possibly including some bees wax would allow it to set up a little firmly.
I’m on vacation for about 10 days, but I’ll submit my recipe when I get home.

The SPF is not the measure. The coherence is.
The Sun actually activates many pathways in body. Why block that? Be sensible in the Sun. Infrared, Hydrogen Peroxide Cycle, Vit D are only a few.
I was just going to ask about that. Thanks!

It is believed to be vaccine induced. Pharma put soya products in the shots.
Japanese ppl have been consuming soya for centuries but the obesity has become a problem in the recent years. It is called ''American fat' here.
The American fat phenomena is not new in the US. Seen before 2000, relatively speaking.

Doesn't always work in the sea and the high altitude mountains.
What doesn't always work? A shirt and a wide-brimmed hat?
Certainly Not in the water. Not practical.
Of course. :) Unless you end up in there by accident.
It's hard to talk to people who don't surf /swim / scuba dive in the ocean.
Ah, now I understand.

The goal is depopulation and control.
Seems like adding zinc oxide to other oils might have substantially increased protection.
Some numbers would be very helpful.
Thanks
That's my go-to.
Thank you
I've looked up recipes for sunscreen online in the past but haven't made any yet - would welcome any recommendations.

UV protection is way overdone. Getting moderate sun exposure can be beneficial.
how about zinc oxide?
Have you looked at carrot seed oil? It’s my go to

Hm... Coconut oil is an ingredient for tanning oil produced in Tahiti.
So which way does it work?
