Vit K fear monger. Peter Bourla prefers babies die from vit k shot rather than live without it.

All mammals, not just all humans are born with a low vit K. Not all countries inject vit K at birthSomee that go along with bug pharmas fear mingerung, give oral drops and spread the drops out over a week.

Seems to me that literally many billions of people around the world have been safely born and have thrived - since the beginning of humanity - without being injected at birth with synthetic vitamins, aluminum, sexually transmitted disease vaccines, and whatever else they are doing these days to all newborns in hospitals. Sayer, everything you say on this topic (and all others you write about!), projects informed common sense, wisdom, and sanity, attributes that are definitely missing in Western medical health policy and decisions these days.....

In any situation regarding any matter, if the lead is fear inducing (i.e. babies are bleeding to death in this case) you should seek better information. Fear is an emotion that leads to poor decision making. Anyone trying to scare you into a decision (any decision) is manipulating you. This phenomenon is widespread in the medical institutions of America, not just birthing practices.

I personally would not give the synthetic vitamin k shot unless there was a situation where bleeding was likely. My grandson had open heart surgery at 4 days old. Obviously bleeding is going to occur. It was known before birth in his case that surgery was likely to be necessary, but even if it wasn’t it would have been obvious there was a problem shortly after birth.

A more important question to me is why we use fake vitamin k to begin with? Why can’t a more natural form of vitamin k be administered? Why can’t it be ingested as opposed to using a needle so the body can process it normally? Why is the dose so large it can cause stress on the liver resulting in jaundice? (This occurred with my son) These are newborns, they deserve the absolute best we can do. Why are babies born without vitamin K? Seems likely God had a reason for that since He doesn’t make mistakes. God commanded the Israelites to wait till day 8 to circumcise and miraculously babies vitamin k levels increase on days 7 and 8, so I’ve heard. There are so many basic questions that should be answered for parents to help them make the best decision for their circumstances.

I think Dr. Mercola may have a strong influence on him. First he stopped supporting NVIC with no warning or explanation, now this. And if you read his article he’s now saying ludicrous things like “the science is settled”. I think unless you’re God you don’t know everything on any subject and the science can never be treated as settled. Sayer, I really appreciate that you approach things with such a balanced and rational view.

So sad about Mercola. For many years he provided great information and I learned so much from him. Then BOOM….

The Vitamin K injection is a misnomer; it is a vaccine, arrives in a black box, with incredibly dangerous adjuvants; and like all vaccines, our nurses and doctors are following Big Pharma's orders.

I stopped listening to Dr. Mercola awhile back (2024), Sayer, when I learned from insiders that he (Mercola) had fired his entire staff, including his sister who helped him start his business, because his advisor, who channels an ancient diety, told him to restructure his entire organization. So anything coming from Mercola should be considered in lieu of this information. You can google it.

All the best to you, Sayer. I am a fan of your work.

I did the same for the same reasons... After I watched a video from Barbara Loe Fisher.

And his articles were getting weird...

Yes , Joe has lost his critical thinking skills to an unsavory thief. His family is praying for him.

Great article, Sayer. My vote is for a Doula, not big harma.

Vit K has a black box warning, hmmm I wonder why??? The problem is some of these Drs. are too lazy or old to read the package inserts so that they can inform themselves of all the adverse reactions that may occur.

Moms… after the birth of your precious baby discuss before hand and remind your doctor that you are delaying clamping of the umbilical cord so that the cord blood rich in everything! Can flow back into your precious baby.

Moms might want to eat foods rich in potassium before the birth. Potassium is fat soluble so don’t overdue it.

Just wondering… what did mothers do from 6,000 BC to 1950 AD without a Vitamin K injection? All these “medical interventions “ should trigger questions about WHY anyone needs them. I am neighbor to an Amish community with midwives that have NEVER received any medical training and so far at least a 1,000 babies in this community alone have been successfully delivered at home and healthy with no medical intervention. Do we sometimes go to a hospital when the delivery isn’t going as planned? Sure. So far, the only babies we lost were the fault of the hospital delivery (1 ) a twin who apparently suffocated before delivery or fatal birth defects (2) no intervention would have helped. Healthy mothers tend to have healthy robust babies. What does that say about women who need hospital planned births.

I was just telling my husband this same thing. I couldn't find it in a quick Internet search (because all that came up were fear mongering articles), but I've heard from two different sources why baby's blood doesn't coagulate immediately (wish I could remember why).. And there is a good reason. There is also no mention here of oral Vit K, which is a much less toxic option. Other countries use oral K, but in the US it's very hard to find...hmmm...I wonder why. Our youngest daughter had a home birth in water with ZERO interventions. The midwife's assistant told us she had the healthiest placenta she'd seen. That baby boy is 8 months old now and healthy as can be. Never had a vaccine. He weighs 21 lbs! I got to be present for this birth and it was WONDERFUL! The lights were dimmed, soft music was playing, my son-in-law delivered the baby, the cord was left unclamped for a good long time.. What a perfectly beautiful way to enter the world ❤️

I use only Yandex browser, and so far I am able to get good results when searching health related topics.

But why are babies (except in rare circumstances) bleeding at all? Maybe that’s the first question to ask.

Fear mongering will continue as long as there is a standard of care model/ protocol. The maternal diet chart is critical and of utmost importance!! Deliveries < 37 weeks regardless of diet is important as well . Healthcare providers should be discussing this with the patient during pregnancy and post delivery. Brain bleeds can be ugly with lifetime consequences. God bless all Moms and babies.🙏❤️🙏

Newborns have low vitamin K in their blood, which is nature’s design. The stem cells from cord blood are supposed to reach different sites in the newborn baby’s body and heal any birth trauma that may have occurred. If the newborn has normal levels of vitamin K, the cord blood cells will not be able to circulate freely. This also means that the cord should be left unclamped till it stops pulsing.

Mother’s first milk is rich in colostrum and vitamin K. So baby will be protected if the mother feeds the baby immediately after birth.

Nature’s design is meaningful and we should not second guess it.

I worked in a neonatal intensive care Unit for 25 years and did not see one neonate have any adverse reaction to the Vitamin K injection! We covered 15 counties for care and pick up so I think that says a great deal for the positive of the Vitamin K!!! Keep it active do not let Kennedy and the people on cdc stop another vaccine that saves lives!!!!

My son developed jaundice. I’ve read several articles (which included studies) that say most jaundice in newborns is a result of the synthetic vitamin k that was administered. Why risk liver stress if there are no substantial risk of bleeding.

Obviously NICU babies may have things done to them that cause bleeding (even simple things like an IV) so they are an outlier compared to normal healthy babies. Why not administer oral vitamin k that isn’t synthetic and won’t stress the liver when given in appropriate amounts? Most serious side effects would gone.

Excellent analysis!! Thank you!

My brother (a pathologist) said long ago: "The best thing you can do for your health is stay out of hospitals." It becomes more obvious every day that modern medicine is a system largely built around profiting from death. I guess that's a no-brainer when depopulation agenda people are ultimately in charge.

Trudy Anrep's avatar

Midwifes should be leaving the umbilical cord intact as nature intended for at least five minutes or more .

And what does the comparison of Vit K vs no Vit K administration tell us?
